Payment & Cancellation

At Project Rewilding, we work hard to create meaningful, hands-on experiences that are personal, intentional, and community focused. Our workshops are intentionally kept small so that every participant receives quality instruction, individual attention, and the opportunity to fully engage in the experience.

Over time, many of our classes have begun filling quickly, and we have frequently had waitlists of families and students hoping for an opportunity to attend. Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations and unpaid signups often result in empty spots that could have gone to someone else who was eager and prepared to participate. These situations also make it difficult for us to properly prepare instructors, materials, staffing, and logistics for each workshop.

Because of this, we have updated our registration, payment, and cancellation policies moving forward. These policies are not meant to be punitive. Rather, they are intended to help us build workshops filled with participants who are fully committed to attending and participating in the experience together.

Payment is due at the time of registration in order to reserve a spot in class. This helps ensure that registrations reflect genuine commitment and allows us to confidently plan for materials, staffing, and class size. After signing up, participants will receive an invoice that can be submitted to ESA, paid securely online, and we also accept Venmo payments for convenience.

We have also implemented a cancellation policy to help protect the integrity of these small-group workshops.

Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the workshop date are eligible for a 50% refund, with the remaining 50% issued as credit toward a future workshop.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop are not eligible for refund or workshop credit.

We completely understand that life happens, schedules change, and unexpected situations come up. Because of that, participants are always encouraged to transfer or “sell” their spot to another person if they are unable to attend. We simply ask that you contact us with the new participant’s information prior to the workshop so we can update our roster accordingly.

We deeply value every family, student, and member of this community who chooses to spend their time learning with us. Your support allows us to continue creating opportunities for people to reconnect with the outdoors, learn practical skills, build confidence, and strengthen community through shared experiences.

Thank you for understanding the heart behind these policies and for helping us continue building something meaningful together.
